How has the price of Elegant Budget Zeker & Vast evolved over the past period? Has the price increased, or has the kwh price decreased? And how does Elegant Budget Zeker & Vast compare with other tariffs in the market?
Keep in mind that Elegant regularly gives discounts to new customers. As a result, their kWh price is often even more interesting than "standard price". The kWh prices in the chart are the standard prices without discounts.

Below you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about Elegant Budget Zeker & Vast. Is your question not listed? Feel free to contact us.
No, Elegant Budget Zeker & Vast is a fixed tariff, i.e. the consumption price per kWh you subscribe to now, that is the price you will pay for your consumption throughout the term of your contract. The price does not increase and will not decrease. You can find all the price information and indexation formula in the tariffsffiches.
If you have solar panels (or other generators), and you have generated a surplus of energy, you will receive a feed-in compensation from supplier Elegant for this. Better, however, is that you also use all the generated energy yourself, so that you yourself take less from the energy grid. Because even though you get a small fee for generated power, the price you get (c€5.25 /kWh) is much smaller than the power you buy (c€18.60 /kWh), and you also pay grid costs, taxes, excise duties, you name it.
When you switch suppliers, your new supplier Elegant takes care of everything. They will contact both your local grid operator and your previous energy supplier. Your switch usually follows 30 days after your request, but you can also choose a switch date yourself up to 6 months in the future. If you have requested a new connection or move, Elegant also takes care of everything, and then everything can be set up even faster.
Consumers are always entitled to a free cancellation period of 2 weeks after application. For this, you need to contact your new supplier yourself, or contact your current supplier and ask them to stop the switch. Business users are not entitled to 2 weeks' notice.
No, consumers in Belgium are still allowed to switch suppliers for free, and without giving any reason. You are not bound to a fixed contract duration. However, sometimes early termination means you lose your welcome discounts. We therefore advise you to remain a customer for at least one year before requesting an energy switch.
When the original contract term of 1 or 2 years is about to expire, Elegant will notify you. In this, they will offer you a new contract proposal with the same or similar tariff plan. This is the moment you should definitely come and compare your energy contract again on DareToCompare.be.
Elegant Budget Zeker & Vast is only available in Flanders, not in the other regions.
